Along with Gayatri Mantra recitation, The Yagya Fire Ceremony is one of two core practices of CTP's Partner Organization, the All World Gayatri Pariwar (AWGP) in Haridwar, India. Through dedicated work during the 1950's of AWGP's founder Shriram Sharma Acharya, the Gayatri Yagya was made available to the public in India, where the performance of this ceremony had been restricted to the priest class for at least 5000 years. After preliminary invocations and purifications, the Gayatri Yagya involves offerings of an herbal mixture along with mantra and benevolent emotions into a sacred fire for local and global distribution. Benefits are said to include environmental an personal purification and upliftment. All are welcome to check for themselves. Participants who RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org will receive a digital Yagya mantra liturgy/practice booklet prior to the day of the ceremony. Pancake Breakfast to follow.
