The eighth talk of CTP’s Tend the Root Series on Personal and Societal Transformation
At the root of our ecological crisis lies a deep ignorance of the true nature of humanity. Without rediscovering this essential nature, our efforts to build a sustainable culture will inevitably fall short. In this talk, we will inquire into the spiritual root of unsustainability, explore the immensely beneficial role a spiritually mature human being can have on the ecology of a landscape, and envision a future where human culture and spirituality supports the flourishing of all life.
Potluck dinner at 6:00, discussion at approximately 8:00. Tea and cookies provided. Donations to support the work of the Center for Transformational Practice encouraged.
