The Center for Transformational Practice is located on a two acre parcel of land that stretches between the railroad tracks and the Connecticut River. just outside of downtown White River Junction, Vermont.The once neglected house and land is now on its way to becoming a permaculture gardening and sustainable technology demonstration site.
Including 260 linear feet of hugel mounds, a free-for-the-picking orchard and berry patch, 7,000 square feet of annual garden and three labyrinths for walking meditation. CTP resides between the athletic fields of Ratcliffe Park and a newly installed public walking path that leads to the River.
The CTP buildings are designed to house seven adults between two houses. Both are well insulated and ecologically heated. (one with a heat pump and the other with a wood fired boiler and rocket mass heater)
