Kyle Barrett introduced himself and his chain saw to CTP in March of 2016, to help clear lands and break ground on the labyrinth. After a short stint steeping in a rudimentary, earthen cabin in the woods for a year, Kyle moved to CTP, in May 2017, with his house plants and popcorn kettle to live in close community with a consistent meditation culture, to farm and to share meals with friends.
Kyle maintains a daily meditation practice paired with yoga and Qigong; and teaches Yin Yoga at CTP and throughout the White River Valley. He is also the pulse of Treeline Design, and is interested in expanding his building and regenerative agriculture knowledge, and homestead aptitude.
Away from CTP, you will find Kyle protesting a pipeline, climbing rock walls, snowshoeing in the woods, swimming in the White River, reading, writing and publishing short story and poetry, or learning to make new foods, teas, and ferments.
