“Tend the Root” Talk Series

CTP’s “Tend the Root” Talk Series will explain and elaborate on the themes and facets of the movements for social transition through inner transformation. The Series overarching thesis is twofold: 1.  Because our ability to avoid the worst of the eco-social cataclysm toward which we head depends upon radical inner transformation at personal and collective levels, such transformation has now become a historical necessity. And 2. this dynamic has strategic implications that we need to explore.

Each speaker will draw on their particular experience and expertise regarding key facets of the conversation, including leadership, group work,  social activism, law enforcement, racial equity, intersectionality, personal practice, education, ecology and more.

Each presentation will be preceded by opening remarks which will help link the presentation with the rest of the field of transformational change. Registered series participants will receive recommended reading materials prior to each session and will be eligible to meet as a discussion group once the series concludes.
